The story behind

the Popobär ...

As a father of 3 children who are all under the age of 10, I have given thought to why it’s so difficult for little superheroes to win the battle against the "evil toilet paper villain"...

With motivation & fun!

I can show my kids everything from getting dressed to brushing their teeth. The only thing that I couldn’t show was how to wipe after doing number two. It wasn't too bad, it had been like that since birth, I thought. The problem persisted when I squeezed into a cramped, shabby public toilet with the young sibling in a pram because the "big one" urgently needed to go number two. By this time, he should have mastered wiping by now. But he was used to calling and I heard it again: "I’m done!" I developed the tool so that I could practice wiping with my kids. Without the smell of poop, without pushing the kids, and, above all, in a way that they could see what they were doing. It was supposed to be fun and motivating, which is why the Popobär and the children became superheroes. We practiced with the tool first on a smooth surface and then on my kids' oversized teddy bear, which they then named Popobär. From then on, we practiced every 2-3 days, with it strapped over our own bottom. From now on, a realistic sequence of movements should be trained because up to now the children could only learn to wipe blindly. After only four to six weeks it worked perfectly for our kids. They felt like superheroes and afterwards had no problems to do this heroic action without Popobär. I made the Popobär for many friends and acquaintances. Without exception, all children were doing it perfectly in short order. It works!

"And all this is because

of proper and independent wiping?"

Pinworms

Proper wiping is important to us because there are regular outbreaks of pinworms in daycare centers or schools. A pinworm infestation is the most common parasitic childhood disease in Europe. Despite its frequency, there is little knowledge of it in the population. The tiny parasites are a great burden for many parents and the children impacted. They are ashamed to speak openly about the "taboo subject". That’s why cases of pinworms are often concealed. Furthermore, the infestation is not subject to reporting, as is the case with lice, for example! This makes it possible for the pinworm infestation to recur for months – although the aim given a pinworm infestation is to treat the parasites as quickly as possible to protect the family, close contacts, and the social environment from transmission.

Girls in particular are prone to painful bladder infections. Why is that? And what can be done about it?
The Popobär teaches girls proper hygiene and the importance of always wiping from front to back so that no intestinal bacteria comes near the urethra.

Bum itch

Quiiitsch!!! Poop streaks!! It itches, it burns, and in the evening the bottom is sore. Most children go number two every day at the daycare center. Sometimes children want and should wipe themselves, sometimes they aren’t heard, or it takes too long. There are also children who don't wipe themselves at all. Here, too, the Popobär is in demand and helps children independently wipe themselves.

Constipation

Suppressing or holding back bowel movements due to disgust for poop or due to pain is not only problematic but also very dangerous. Our Popobär tool helps kids learn the techniques without pressure, before disgust even develops.

Experiences of parents of heroes:

It worked! We never thought that it would really be so easy and fast. After 6 weeks my little dear (5) can wipe herself on her own and is proud! Me too, of course.    - Maike S.

Good concept with the superhero! Eventually my son (5) tried to wipe his bottom on his own. He wanted to be a wiping superhero and after almost 4 weeks he had it.      - Mark M.

After initial concerns, especially about the price, we’re now happy that we ordered the Popobär! After two years of stress and a sore bottom, our son (6) is now "clean" after 5 weeks of practice with the Popobär!      - Unknown

Good quality, no cheap silicone, and it really worked! My daughter (4) practiced every day and was very proud of her results. It’s just that she now wants to wear her hero belt all the time. :)   - Jenny S.

The Popobär is finally a sensible idea! I have tried, practiced, and tested so much, but nothing really helped! The Popobär has now brought the desired success and that after only 3 weeks!     - Jana

At first, we thought, yeah, yeah, another one who wants to make money with a children's product, but after testing the Popobär, we have to say very clearly that it works. Our son (7) and daughter (4) liked to practice from the first day on and were wiping superheroes after 4 and 6 weeks respectively ;)    - Fam. P.

My daughter really had trouble wiping herself! She found it unpleasant and annoying and preferred to jump off the toilet without wiping! It was the same at the daycare center. Then I ordered the Popobär and she liked the Simpson-Popo so much that she tried it out and lo and behold – it worked immediately:) :).     - Gülsan H.

Mega! I couldn't take the “Mom, I'm done” any longer No matter where, I always had to wipe! With four children! I googled it and realized that I’m not alone with the topic and that the tool is here! Ordered, practiced, and more than happy.    - Tamara

Finally, someone's tackling the issue. I don't have children, but I have to wipe the child bums at work every day. I have the feeling that the parents don't care about it at all and leave it to us educators. You should offer courses with it!    - Anne M.

Good idea and very easy. My children (3/5) were curious right off the bat and wanted to try it immediately. They practiced diligently every 2 or 3 days, and we were all good after 4 weeks...    - Unknown

The way to become a
superhero  - The manual

Introduce the Popobär with the belt to the kids, but be careful because this belt bestows super powers!

To start with, rub the silicone bum with a little cooking oil to make success come quicker.
The silicone bum is non-slip so you can start to practice handling the toilet paper on the table or floor.
Press a pea-sized portion of the light blue super paste into the bum crack and smear it around a little. You really don't need much of it.
Depending on how fast the kids are able to do this, go to the next level.
The Popobär is fixed somewhere vertically. This can be done, for example, on the thigh of the parents or, as with us, on a large stuffed animal.
For level 3, the Popobär is simply strapped over the clothes around the child’s bottom. It does not have to be exact. This is about practicing the sequence of movements and handling the paper. You can try it standing or sitting. We always used a stool.
Depending on how you feel you like you can use the dark blue paste after a few tries, vary the amount, practice with toilet paper or wipes In real life every time is different :).
After each practice you can take off the Popobär, show the little superhero, and discuss improvements for next time.
And don't worry because the Popobär is made of high-quality material and can withstand even a dishwasher. Without the belt, of course…

I wish all superheroes good luck!
